Welcome

Welcome to Heartrose Care Foundation

Heartrose Care Foundation is a registered social-sector, not-for-profit NGO, incorporated with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission. Formerly known as Heartrose Resources, we have been operational since 2007 — with a zero tolerance for the emotional scourge known as depression.

Our work centres on combating depression through education, therapeutic support, school-based initiatives, and training community counsellors — meeting people where they are and walking alongside them toward healing.

  • Depression is the most common form of mental illness globally.
  • One in four people will experience a depressive disorder at some point.
  • WHO projects depression will be the leading cause of worker disability by 2030.
